I've noticed that the Copy function in MM is simply not working. It just doing a Cut by moving files. This is annoying, as you can't use the Copy function with CD-ROMs (it generates errors beacause it can't move the files) an with regular folder you are forced to use Explorer and do it yourself. I'm using the latest 2.5.3.968 version. Anyone as noticed that?
Thanks
Copy function is doing a Cut instead

You need to be more specific as there are several copy/paste options available like right click copy and send to Folder (Copy).

Yeah, MediaMonkey seems to always do a cut when copying files between locations. I tried copy and paste between MediaMonkey and Windows Explorer and here it did copy.

There is two points of view for this issue:
1. MM is music manager that tends to cut duplicate tracks in persons collection. This should explain internal library Cut function vs. MM<->Copy function.
2. Is person wants to have Backups of files it is possible to make this. Location Node is basicaly represents your music organization (where you put your files with familiar Windows explorer navigation structure) If you want to see one song in several different places I advise that you do not copy track to different location and also have it there but just make (Auto-)playlist that will point you a reminder for that song(s). (I think it saves time and headache when you want to figure out which one of two duplicates have Correct tags,...)
If someone thinks that I'm wrong or know some other points of view do not hasiate to add one
