You would need to define the definition of top. Songs you like the most, songs rated the highest, songs played the most, etc...

what are you calling pop?
is it
rock
big band
night club cronners
easy listening
country
bluegrass.
i lable the songs from the 1940's to the present day that were labled pop by the riaa. which were mostly the night club cronners and the easy listining and the soft rock. songs that were the most popular on the radio stations.
so pop is not just one genre of muisc.
which takes me to the question i asked?
what is your idea of pop songs you want to have listed in your replys?

I mostly Like Pop Disco/Dance/Dance Floor/Rock up to 1995 and from my LastFM you can see that Roxette is on top (I use/listen them mostly when I Code).
Last days I mostly listen Firehouse, DR. Alban (Look Who's Talking Now), Kenny Loggins (Soundrack Themes from 80's Footloose and Top Gun) and few other Soundtracks (Electric Dreams 1984). So generaly I like better 80's than 90's

Is it really? The popular use of the word Pop when refering to music in the last 4 or 5 decades is generally music 'of the moment', fashion music. Usually music that appeals to a youthful demographic in that era.
We all know what the word Pop means, but like many words in the English language it's been hijacked to mean something else.
Big Band in the 40's might have been "popular music" but now I bet if you asked 100 people what they thought Pop music was, you are sure to get a lot of variation but very few people would include Big Band. You'll get more people argue that some forms of Country are Pop, but how many out of 100 random people would that include? Shania Twain is an example of an Artist that might be classified either way. But generally Country music is Country Music.
Nowadays the lines are blurred between genres, hence the eternal struggle of those who wish to accurately classify their huge music collections.
I'll bet there will be a stack of you who will disagree with me, but let the discussion begin......again.

As seen before in other posts about genre's RovingCowboy handles a different definition of genres than generally accepted.
Some genre's do lean towards pop music, you got pop-rock but also pop-country (dixie chicks, shania twain, etc.). This often is music that is not true to it's genre, but moved more towards the pop music genre. This doesn't mean that country or rock are subgenre's or versions of pop music.
