Hi,
I downloaded MM and looks great. I wanted to leave behind the i-bloated-tunes and try another solution.
I noticed that there is an option to import iTunes rankings, play counts, which is an excellent feature.
I have installed a new hard disk on my laptop computer and my old one (where my main iTunes installation used to be) lies in a USB bay as a secondary backup place.
Can I import from my old iTunes installation?
from iTunes to MediaMonkey

Umm, Im not sure about importing play counts and such from Itunes, but I know that you can import your tracks from iTunes, you just need to get MM to scan the folder where your tracks are stored and it will add them to the MM library.

You want to import music from the new harddrive and apply the iTunes information from songs on the old harddrive (now backup)? That will probably not work as the old iTunes DB is related to the songs on the old drive and not related to music on the new drive.
I don't know what MediaMonkey does with iTunes information (what fields are imported), but you probably would first need to related the iTunes DB with the new harddrive before any fields can be copied from the iTunes DB.
