Post by Jaeger »

Hi,
I've ot a couple of PlayLists in the DropDown (right click on track) send to playlist

iPod First
Record For Car
Dance Party

But when I look at the PlayList Mode. Not of these are listed?

Where can I find these? Thanks?

Bex wrote:But you can manually remove the entries. They are stored in "C:\Documents and Settings\*Your Name*\My Documents\My Music\MediaMonkey\Mediamonkey.ini". Open up the file in e.g. Notepad and locate [SendToPlstHist] and delete the folders entries you dont want.
from here

In other words, it seems that you used to have those playlists, but deleted them from MediaMonkey. The problem is that MediaMonkey still remembers them and the above suggested method would delete these playlists from the sendto menu.

I don't think that's the point Jaeger was making.

Right clicking on a playlist (under the playlist node) and then moving to send to playlist.., only shows 'new playlist'.

In other words - it doesn't offer the opportunity to add a track (while browsing a playlist) to another existing playlist.

At least that's my take on it. :-?

OK, I don't remember deleting them but I guess they are gone.

That's a pain as I must have added 2 hundred tracks to that list that I'll have to do again.

Another minor issue I have 2 mediaMonkey.ini files.

1 in E:\My Music\MediaMonkey = 14kb
1 in C:\Progam Files\MediaMonkey = 1kb

Should I delete the one on C?

Thanks for all your help people. Very much appreciated.

No, the one in your my music folder is your current settings. The one in the mediamonkey folder is used as the default for new users etc.
