I switched from Winamp and I truly miss the various viewing modes available. You could pretty much make it any size you wanted with skins, then close the windows you don't need (like library, playlist, equalizer). Then you could minimize it to a simple player bar. In Media Monkey, the player is great, but the entire Media Monkey window needs to be open in the back to use it. And you can minimize, but only to the Now Playing window, which has no player controls.
What I want:
-A skinnable player you can use with the main window minimized
-A player bar that can minimize to the taskbar like Windows Media Player or as a separate bar always on top, as in Winamp.
-Browse by Album Art, or a more graphical, simple interface. There should be some way to browse besides the tree nodes.
Mini Mode!

Well, MediaMonkey 3.0 will have a lot of improvements, also in this area.
Extensions: ExternalTools, ExtractFields, SongPreviewer, LinkedTracks, CleanImport, and some other scripts (Need Help with Addons > List of All Scripts).
I really don't know that much about MM 3.0 either, and what I quoted above is also applicable to me...the wait is killing me!!!

Many people are in anticipation of what goodies MM 3.0 will bring us.
