We are currently looking for a good C programmer that would help us mainly with plug-in development (plug-ins for tagging/decoding/encoding audio formats). If you are interested in this, let me know and we'll discuss the details over e-mail.

Okay. I have told you many times. If I'm going to do work for MediaMonkey then I will have to have a new plug-in architecture for the input, output system. Sure Winamp got plenty of plug-ins, but the Winamp architecture is waaay outdated. Nullsoft ins't what it used to be. AOL owns them now and inhibits their creativity.
I advice you agains using Winamp as a inspiration for a plug-in architecture. Design your own. Prefferably class based architecure and optimized for C++ coding.

I agree is some part of it but regarding new archictecture I think it is better to modify and Add new stuff to it and still have some compatibility. I have Modified Winamp In/Out Plugin Loader and made Miracles, but yet preserve Compatibility in 99%. MM is done something Similar by adding its own Methods allong basic SDK architecture Compatibility (Unicode FileName Support). And what if someone do not know C++?

Well for any possible portability to Linux (through WINE) this might not be a good idea.
