it would be an expensive gimmic all 4 of the monkees are still around and mike is or was still in the music busniess, peter is or was in the studio's working on the sound boards. davy is doing gigs when some one wants a band member to show up
for some event. he was (that i seen anyway ) last on the tv show over here for abc called extream home make over.

the last ablum they made was the music box album where they released all their songs in it. 4 cdroms and a book on their career, they wont sing anymore the last tv show ended with mike putting his wool cap in the glove box and all them saying its over then them all putting on sun glasses and walking away from the monkey mobile.

in case you could not tell i am a huge fan of them.
they came in my house as a kid every week and never
tried to beat me up just sang and had fun. being the small
kid on the block i went out after they were on tv and the
other kids did the trying to beat me up.
only caught me 2 times.?

my mm 3 skin is called jungle monkees and has their photos on. as the play pause button...

i could include them singing the radio release of that which is the song minus the extra tv series last verse. ?

i could get that from the vhs tape and make a complete version but it would not sound as good.
but it would be a complete version.




oh i also have the ray stevens version of the monkees theme song.

its a riot. nothing like the real one except he keeps the same tune and the chorus with parts of the other verses but it is a total riot to listen to.

that ray stevens is one of the craziest singers songwriters there is. he did the song " In The Mood " he made chicken sounds and cow sounds for the main instruments for the entire song. and it worked?

I enjoyed The Monkeys on cable when I was a kid....still sing a long to the intro song.
