Add Album Artist node?

This may already be possible, but I would love to have a node for viewing album artist rather than by 'artist'.

I believe this can be done with MagicNodes.

An a serious note, I believe that ALL albums should be sorted by Album Artist. This is what most of you will recognise as the "real" artist of your album. Artist is called "contributing artists" in WMP11, and that's what the tag should be used for also. This may be confusing for some users and needs to be sorted out in my opinion.

I agree. It's very frustrating with my ipod for example. I want to hear all songs from an artist, but can't select 'play all' if the artist has other people on some songs...

Nope. It's an every media player that I'm aware of issue. They all pull the artist data from the 'artist' field and not the 'album artist' field. If you know one that doesn't, I'd be glad to hear it. Ive used the Sansa 200 series, Zune, Ipod and Creative Zen players...
