DJ and Karaoke

Post by Hooah »

First, for those of you who DJ and KJ, what are some of the best software tools? Is there something these tools do that MediaMonkey doesn't? Does MM play the files mp3+g files that are zipped? Does MM have the ability to export file list to djintelligence.com or wedj.com? What are your recommendations for someone wanting to get into this?

there is a lyrics script for media monkey but not sure if it does what you want?

i don't think lyrics and karaoke are high on the priority list for mm 3 if at all?

only the development team knows that.

I would like it to at least just play MP3+G and the zip files. But I understand that it isn't high on the priority list. But with MM3 in development, I figured it might not be a bad time to add it. Karaoke is starting to become more popular. I am not a coder, but I am not sure if it would be that difficult to add file support, and maybe the lyrics follow along window later. And I know about the lyrics script, but it doesn't do the same thing. I would just like to be able to combine Karafun player and MM2.5.5.

that is funny i was thinking the same thing if mm could play the kfn files that would be great. but i think karafun's developers would have something to say about that.

and then how would i get my kara fun skin to work in mm?

kara fun is able to be played and saved in video files. if you buy the program you can save to any size you like and add movies in the background. but i stopped with the free version i have not made any new karafun file since christmas.

i have not made any of them in to wmv files since last june.

but it is a good program i just got out of karaoke. as they say on the site "you still won't beable to sing"

i wasn't so i stopped.

kara fun can play what you want and you might beable to make it a wmv file if you have a couple hard drives where you can play it on one and save to the other then a screen capture video program might work to let you be able to play the wmv files or avi files in mm with a plug in.
i know the power video player plugin for winamp was on mm's download site.
