Zen V works well, but...

I've got a Zen V 2GB (the one without the FM radio and video playback). Mostly I use it for audiobooks, spoken word (comedy) etc but have some music on it for the sake of variety.

Synchronising seems to work very well, even with auto-conversion of everything down to 64kbps WMA, however I haven't yet figured out how to send playlists to it.

I'm still searching the forums for tips/info before posting a question in a new thread.

I have a Zen V Plus, and MM works great with it.

I think I had to install some of the basic Zen drivers, then MM took it from there.

hi

i just grabbed a "zen v plus" from a friend and noticed how it works, it does not a appear as an external drive on windows, it appears only in "my pc" as a sort of virtual storage drive, portable. if you open it you just see some folders but you cannot really have access to the files

my question is: mm is able to copy songs from it, but it cannot copy from it to my hard drive!!!
it cannot copy the demos songs it came with, nor the mp3 i have just loaded in it?

anybody knows the solution to this awful transfer blocking of this device?

thanks!
