Hmm, i cannot understand german but i think that i forgot to mention one very important thing!!!!!!

This script requires MM 2.5 alpha3 or greater!!!

All you people still you using 2.4 you cant use the script as it is now. This is because the methods used for AlbumArt extraction are available only on MM 2.5.

I will post an alternative version tomorrow that will be able to run with MM2.4 but it will not display Album Art!!!

As for the memory leak bug. It is now confirmed that there is a memory leak in MM 2.5 alpha3 but it will be fixed in alpha4 so the bug should disappear in a few days or so

Please, if someone uses 2.5 and has tried the script (with success or not) post it here...

Thanks a lot again

Hey there psyxonova!!!!

its nice to see how you care about the script, keep it going!!!!!

i have been using it without a problem since yesterday and Im Thrilled with it...it makes one sad not to have all the info for all the songs, but i guess i'll put it in with time.

Suggestions: the same as everyone i guess.....dock to MM (i know is not posible yet...but i miss that) and editable fields (When this is possible its important to find a way to edit fields that doesnt affect the UI...it looks great as it is now and i think it'll be screwed if normal "editable fields" are implemented). Oh....almost forgot...its not too bad at the moment...but it will make it even better if it updated automatically when song/tag changes.

Imagine how good this would look when working with plugins that fetch lyrics, genres, etc!!!

I'm using it along with the PowerMenu app and its really nice...its terrific and keep it coming.

psyxonova this is easy to understand even if you dont read german like me.
i have seen this lots of times.

it is saying
line 90
character 2
error the object failed to intialize the encoder or decoder in the sdb tools.
code 0
url ..... file ..... monkey... scripts.

not sure on the error but it looks like they tried to use the menu to click on the link in the scritps menu and that failed to start the script.

i have not seen this exact message before but have seen loads of other ones saying just about the same thing.

About docking: i will look in to it but no promises....
About auto-update: the panel does updates if you change the song details inside MM. Just wait about 1-5 seconds and you will see the updated info...

I still get the error messages about "falbum" object. Whatever that means. I am not confident to use the program as almost everytime I get this error message and then it won't reload.

Have you installed the new version (1.02)?

If yes, please tell me what is the location you have installed media monkey?
Also, have you installed the script in the deafault folder (eg C:\Program files\MediaMonkey) and non the script folder (e.g C:\Program files\MediaMonkey\Scripts)?
The correct place is the default location. If yes you should see a songing.hta file inside the scripts folder and another folder call detaildinfofiles.

Do you have write privileges inside the Media Monky folder? The scripts writes the album art inside the DetailedInfoFiles folder and you should have write access inside this folder (be a member of administrators).

I cant think of anything else, any suggestions someone?

I just used the installer you provided, and it automatically chooses MM. However when I had a look I found the folder for DetailedInfoFiles inside the scripts section, not the default place. MM is installed on C:/Program files/Mediamonkey/

Will download again (although I think I have the latest build) and try again. Let you know.

The DetailedInfoFiles should be inside the scripts folder
What version of MM are you using... are you aware of the fact that the scripts requires the 2.5 alpha 3 ?

bizaare, seems to be working fine now. It only choked when I tried to get MM to use Jetaudio as the Player. Doesn't seem to like it as it looks for Winamp.

Will continue to keep you posted about problems and look forward to any future developments.

It is possible, but after all this script is designed to display all important info in a small space. Adding the current palylist will use a lot of space and other things will have to be removed...
