ie <custom 1> or whatever.
I am using the correct name. It all worked perfectly in previous builds. I even tried "Custom 1" and same issue. The auto-organize buttons even change to the appropriate text you define.

In response to berserk Zen vision synching.

Post by Volition »

Beserk may have been a bit over the top a description. I just mean that every time i synch my zen vision m. The tracks to be tagged number flys up. upwards to 1500 traks. Then when it synchs it deletes all content and reloads it.

Podcast playlist problem

Post by Volition »

When creating a laylist of podcasts by choosing genre = podcasts, then pla # = 0. It does not show all the unplayed podcasts i have.

I have 207 podcasts, all showing 0 as the play #. However on the playlist i created it only shows 2 podcasts.

I tried syncronising the tags for the podcasts no luck there.

Bug: just found this one. mute button on some floating players don't work.
fixed
well really it is a bug only if you don't understand what changes were made in the mm 3 alpha 4 version.

so here is what changed.

1. mm 3 alpha 3. did not need to use image or could use transperent image in the button image for bitmap focused.

2. mm 3 alpha 4.
you need to use a black or white image in the bitmap focused image for the buttons. peter said white is inactive and black is active. the size of the image will tell the skin how much of the button is active or inactive. this has use for adding buttons in side other buttons.

no info sent out to anyone made the skins appear to have the bug in them. :(

Syncing Vision:M

Post by sccrzeus »

I reformatted my Vision:M and now when I try and sync with MM it says that it is preparing a list of tracks and then quits the sync process. There are no errors displayed. It just ends.

This did not occur with Alpha 3.

Bug: Media monkey 3 keeps losing volume when changing songs.

reason being is the volume control in the player is changing the wav mixer and is ignoring what the computer wav mix is set at.

if you turn the volume down on the player but have
the wav mixer volume set loud. the next song will change
to the lower setting of the player's control.

reguardless of what the wav mixer panel control wants.
every time i turn it up with the wav mixer on the panel.
the player turns it back down.

and this also ignores what the master volume control wants.

so its like this.

1. volume on player is set to 25% volume of song.
2. master volume is set to 30% volume of computer sound system.
3. the wav mixer was set to 100%.

the song changes.
#3 above goes to the volume of #1.

this is making the song volume cut so low on the song change
you need to keep going in and resetting the wav mixer. or leave the volume blaring when you are trying to talk on the phone or pause it. the way it did work is prefered.

so instead of having 3 seperate controls the player is using the wav mixer as its volume control where as in alpha 3 there were 3 seperate volume controls.

and in mm 2 there are 3 seperate volume controls.

Just noticed that under Library, Year, there is 1980s, 1990s, etc. In MM2, the tree would expand to 1980, 1981, 1982, etc. Not in this version, I guess.

When importing my database from iTunes, MediaMonkey gets the ratings wrong. It reports a 5 in iTunes as a 3.5

If you got to the year node, got to say "2000's," when you have that node highlighted, if you hit RIGHT on your keyboard and it will open the node up to show the sub years, don't know why the "+" signs aren't shown properly. Strange...
