req: Export iTunes.xml is needed

This was an addon in MM4, but if we could get first party implementation in MM5 it would mean I could update to MM5

It's needed to easily sync MM libraries & playlists with the DJ software Rekordbox and many other DJ softwares.

Most DJ software have iTunes integration, and while I'd never expect these companies to add support for MM.
Adding to MM5 the ability to export an iTunes Library.xml is a way to have a near similar experience with MM.
(set a fixed path for iTunes.xml export in MM settings, have Rekordbox look at that path.
Then anytime you want to sync updates its just: export from MM, re/start rekordbox to see any updates)

Currently the MM4 addon dev isn't interested in switching to 5 and re-coding the addon. So I'm here to request first party support.

If MM can import an itunes xml. Why not the ability to export it?

Until this is possible, be it first party or an addon, me and other DJ's are stuck with MM4.
am I barking up the wrong tree? should I just make a request for an addon?

Hi,
MM support Drag and Drop and based on feedback from other DJs and me personally (with various software) all apps are faster when you D&D selection of files from MM than import whole iTunes.xml (I have 200k) where importing would take too long.

Do not get me wrong, but I wonder if iTunes would even add support for importing MM library
