I have just converted from WMP to Media Monkey; WooHoo!
It took me quite a while to find out why album art wasn't being picked up when scanned My Music Folder.
Default in Windows media player is to have the album art named "folder.jpg" in the album folder but its attributes are HS hidden System?
When I removed H and S attributes Media Monkey found all the album art
Please put this in as a FAQ item at least for other convertees
And add recognised Album Art as "Folder.jpg" regardless of attributes
Thanks

There are several forum posts about that, and it's on the wishlist.
Please take a look at http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 8267#38267 to see how to easily unhide all files and folders (in case you had problems with that).
Cheers

Thanks Steegy for the link, the forum was down for a couple of days so I couldn't find any help.
Luckily I was able to work out the problem alone.
I can't find the issue as a noted wishlist item, the sticky post is old and I think most has been done in version 2.5.3.968
I think it is rather urgent as I could have easily dismissed Media Monkey as too hard to convert from another organiser (others use the folder.jpg standard)
