I would love to see MediaMonkey support multiple album association similar to the way it supports multiple artists. I have bought CDs that have the same song on different albums (think compilations, Greatest Hits, etc). Instead of having the same track multiple times in a media library, we could have one instance of the MP3/FLAC/whatever file and still have the ability to have it in multiple albums.
For example:
Current
Album: <single album title>
Proposed
Album: <first album title>;<second album title>;<third album title>:<etc etc>
Example
Album: Caribou; Elton John's Greatest Hits Vol. 1
Is this possible or planned?

Re: Multiple Album Association
This probably not going to happen as other fields are related to the Album, like Track#, Disc# and Date that would differ per Album the file is on.

Re: Multiple Album Association
Unless my memory is playing tricks, wasn’t there a MM addon that you could use to point to a copy of the track but leave all the metadata in album with the duplicate. So essentially you just had one copy and all the removed copies pointed to that but retained their own metadata. Sorry i can’t remember the addon name.
