Date Sorting [#21943]

Hi,

when looking at an artist in browser view, the albums are set to be sorted by date. But if there are multiple releases in the same year, the albums are sorted by year and then alphabetically. Is there an option to change this behaviour, so that the actual date (year/month/day) is used to sort the albums?

Do you have Date stored as a full date or just year in your files and which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey?

Build is MM 2024.2.0.3184

I use mostly full Date (dd.mm.yyyy), the albums that made me notice this also had the full date stored in the tag.

It does seem only Year is taken into account on Date sort, added as: https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=21943

What is your system Short Date Format? I also use dd.mm.yyyy , but when there is mixed Year only and full date then I can see bug #21943.

My System Date Format is also set to dd.mm.yyyy
