Auto Updating Genre

I got this program to help me organise my big music collection. I have downloaded music from various sources and would like to auto update my entire collection to assign the most dominant genres (not all those multiple and duplicated genres, just the common ones), and also pick correct years, and other meta data information, from the internet. Is there a functional command or codec that can achieve this. Kindly share detailed steps.

There is Auto-Tag, it won't find Genre or Date for all though.

I'm very disappointed in this limitation as well. I was trying to "write" my own add-on for this but I can't get anything to show up in the menu so I can't get to that.

(By write, I mean AI was supposed to help me. I have the specs but am stuck. I have almost 8000 files and Auto-Tag often doesn't even pull the track # and never pulls genre.)
