Disc burning wizard

OS: WinXP
Mediamonkey v2.5.4.971

If two tracks conflict on renaming, de-selecting the first doesn't clear the conflict, but if you leave the first selected and de-select the second it does. This doesn't happen when using the Auto-Organise feature.

Also, when burning a dvd the progress bar appears to be the length of time needed to burn a cd ie. it reaches 100% after burning (approx.) 1 cd worth of mp3s then stays there until the whole dvd is finished.

Looked at the new betas after posting this. :-?

Selections work properly.

Haven't burnt another dvd yet, but it has been like this for a while.

Disc burning status bar

Post by rusty »

WildCard,

I just tested this out with 2.5.4.975 and the status bar seems to be correct when I burn a DVD (i.e. it only reaches 'full' when the full contents of the DVD have been burnt).

Anyone else able to reproduce this?

Still doing reaching 100% way too early when using v2.5.4.975. When it's finished I'll try some smaller selections and try to pinpoint how large it thinks 100% is. (Originally noticed with a DVD-R, testing with a DVD+RW)

Looks like it's a 32bit int rollover error. Shows up when more than 4GB of data is being burned (4,294,967,295 bytes). The total value for the progress bar becomes whatever the rollover is, so burning 4.3GB makes 100% at 0.3GB.
