Playing a random song....

I'm not sure if this is because of a setting I have, or even if it is technically a bug, but....when I have Now Playing set on random and things are in the playlist, MM plays a random song when i pick a song from the library and tell it to play now. It seems to me that if I tell a song to "play now" it should play then, and not go to a random track....Once again, I don't know if this is because of a setting I have set away from default, but any support would be great!
