Track Information in Player is Garbled

Post by ibnuts »

Hey, I'm having problems with text being overlapped in my player's track info area (i.e. where it shows what track is currently being played).

A pic (blown up) of my problem (I was playing Metallica at the time, but that's not even visible).

Anyone know what's causing this or how I can fix it?

Thanks in advance :)

As hars has indicated this topic has been raised and discussed previously.
To provide help the MM developers resolve this issue please provide them with as much detail as possible.

The screenshot is great but also they need,

Your system details, Software, MM version, OS etc
Hardware, Graphic Card type and driver version
Mediamonkey setup, skin, scripts or plugins.

It may take a bit of time to gather but is vital to soving this problem.

Thanks

Is this the same issue?

Some of the player is being "ghosted" on top of the library list.

It is to me a part of the same issue. When the player locks up or gets the garbled text then the player will usually go exactly as your screen shot shows.

This has been reported and is also a part of what I am trying to force or eliminate.

If you could post your details as I have indicated so the developers can start to get a better idea the issue.

It seems we have reproduced and also fixed the issue. We'll release some testing version soon, so that you all could check out whether the fix works for you.

A fix is included as of 2.5.5.980 (until 2.5.5 is released, this can be found in the beta forum).
