Tagging Music Files

Hi,
A large number of my files do not get imported with the artist name, album, etc. When I fill in the details myself, will MediaMonkey automatically imprint that information in the files so that it can be used in the future using MediaMonkey, WinAmp or other applications? Or is there something that I must do after I've filled in that information?

NB I use the Gold version.

It depends on what type of files you are using.

.....but for mp3 and wma (AAC/m4a in MM3): Yes, the info is automatically added to the music file.

(I suppose the option Update tags when editing propeties is checked in Options(Default))
