Using Hotkeys, does not Update Player

When i use hot keys to update the volum or ratings, the skin does not update the player information.

When i adjust the volume via the interface with the mouse, the player on gilded shows the new volume on the screen.

With hotkeys nothing shows on the player, and the volume slider or pan slider does not move.

This is irritating for me as i do not know what the volume is after i've adjusted it. I.e. it could be playing at 60% volume yet the player only shows 0%.
