How do I set up sync to give me an option box before a duplicate track is moved to my MP3 player?

I am not referring to instances where I have only 1 copy of a song that is syncing to the MP3 player. I want the sync functionality to recognize when an update to the original track has been made and transfer to the MP3 player as it normally would.

I am referring to when I have multiple copies of the same song in my library that are trying to sync. As of now, they show up on my MP3 player as "song title(1)", "song title(2)", and so on. I only want one version of the song on my MP3 player.

I understand I can use the duplicate track folder to identify and delete duplicate tracks. However, most of my duplicates are radio and explicit versions of the same song. The only way that I can identify which is which is to listen to each track and rename. This process is taking quite a bit of time for the thousands of songs that I am going thru.
