Upgrade database deletes Album Artist value
When upgrading the DB from 2.5 to 3.0, the Album Artist is not converted. Not a single mp3 contains a Album Artist value anymore. When inserting in MM3 new MP3's an Album Artist is added, so it's a conversion problem, I think.

Database corruption even with 3.0.1.1127
Hello,
Although I never used any beta versions I report my database has been corrupted by uprading from MediaMonkey 2.5 to MediaMonkey 3.0.1.1127 (free version).
It's the ALBUM ARTIST tag that is now corrupt.
It is not empty but its content is any random artist in my database instead of the old correct value.

Have you tried with latest release (build 1131) ? If so, please send me your MM2 database and some examples (petr < att > mediamonkey < dott > com).
Hi !
Yes I did try this version too.
I used the code but when I do that, the album artists are randomized.
I tried to send you the mdb but it is blocked as dangerous by the e-mail server do you still want it ? I can zip it maybe…
I went back to 2.5.5.998 which is enough for me (and faster too).

MM 3.0.3.1183 still corrupts my ALBUM ARTISTs from 2.5.5.998
My ALBUM ARTISTs are still corrupted now when I try the migration to the latest available version (3.0.3.1183) from my working 2.5.5.998 database.

Re: Upgrade database deletes Album Artist value
Try to Compact Your Database in MM2 before upgrading. It might do the trick.
