First off, let me say that I prefer MM. That said, I'm afraid iTunes is winning again on my machine. I recently picked up a C80 (classic 80) and now that the beta has support for these models, I decided to give it a shot tonight.
Things were great, I followed all the tips in the Sync thread regarding using iTunes and MM, one for music, and the other intended for video. Sync'd the music via MM, and then went to iTunes to sync my video content. And says: Sorry, but I have to erase everything (essentially). So, I test it, just to make sure, and all the music goes away.
When I reconnect MM, then I can resync the music, and that works, but returning to iTunes, blip, music removed, video resync'd.
Anyone have a tip on how to get the video content sync'd without futzing everything else up?
