The main Player jitters (B3-RC1) [F-RC2-3883]

Post by Timo_Beil »

During playing and idle the Main Player jitters up and down.
B2 didn't have this phenomenon.

Temporarily

Sorry, it's not jittering all the time,
It happens approximately all 10 Minutes and jitters a few times in intervalls of 2 seconds.
Then it's okay again for 10 Minutes.
It looks like a faild actualization in the Status Bar?
Ill' try to get a screenshot of one of the jitter position (not easy).

Here a Screenshot of one of he jitter positions.

The PropertiesBar is light pink with no entries. :-?
That alternates during jittering with the normal view.

I *think* the same thing happened with me, but only when I had Auto-Organize enabled.

I can replicate this by running trixmoto's calculate cover size script. The script works great, but while its calculating the player jitters up and down.

hmm.. can't replicate.

Could there be any commonalties among you all? e.g.

OS? Graphic card?

Running Vista Home Premium on a Laptop, integrated graphics card. Also should mention I was playing music while the script was running.

XP SP2 (nearly) all updates, NVidia 6610XL VGA.

I noticed heavy jittering while the library is rescanned. Just as the Volume Analysis opens its additional progress bar, jittering stops at once.

I've just tested it in .1098 .... :(

I've put 20 new files in the watched folders. During Volume Analysis it's ok. After Vol.Anal. stops, jitter starts.

Jitter

Still can't replicate. Can somebody generate a video of this (e.g. using camstudio) while generating a debug log? Hopefully that'll give us a better idea re. exactly what is happening.
