Cursor In Comment Field

Post by GargantulaKon »

When I in-line edit a comment, the cursor is ahead by about 3px and not in between the letters as it should be. It actually goes on top of letters.

Another issue I have is when searching. When I search for the word "Unclean" which I know I put in my comment tags, nothing comes up when I have the "Title" or any other node under "Library" selected. When I click on the "Library" node, then the files show up.

I thought that the whole library was shown under any of the nodes under "Library". I am new to MediaMonkey and this is how I think the nodes work. That searching with any node under "Library" selected would come up with the same results. Maybe the node selected determines which tag field to search through?

Is it an Engligh text, or any other? If non-English, it might help if you e-mail us your database (MM.DB file).

No, it is in English. If it still might help, I can send my database file.

To clearly show my issue, here is an image (see how the letter "o" has the cursor on top):

The cursor at this point is supposed to be in between the "t" and "o". I tried to resize the comment field to test the bug, but the cursor stays in the same place. In addition, note that the resize handle looks wrong as well. It appears to be a graphical glitch. When I move the resize handle, this glitch changes in appearance.

Here is a low quality video I recorded of both bugs in progress

.

YouTube quality is horrible. So I uploaded the file as a converted DivX file as well.

Now that I see where you are editing the comment (directly from the grid view) I can reproduce the same issue.
