B4: Background levelling reports wrong # of tracks [FIXED]
If I go to the Files To Edit -> Unleveled node, MM reports there are 2175 unleveled tracks, however if I enable Background Volume levelling the status bar shows "Analyzing Volume 1 of 4632"...

I thought this was a problem with my database as well, but I think the count includes the number of individual tracks which are being levelled as well as the number of albums that are being levelled. I could be wrong, but that is what is happening with my database.

Level volume and Album Gain
The Album Gain co-efficients _are_ being recalculated--that's why they're no longer identical. To test this out, try re-analyzing the volume of the tracks (change the option so that volume of already analyzed tracks can be re-analyzed) and you'll see that it won't make any changes to the co-efficients.

Hmm, that's not the behaviour I'm seeing, eg:
1. Select a whole album and Analyse Volume - album volume is now identical for all tracks (-4.0db).
2. Select the whole album and do Level Track Volume - the album volumes are now all mixed up.
3. Select the whole album and re-Analyse the volume - the album volume is recalculated for all tracks (-0.2 db). This is the behaviour I would have expected after step 2.

Album Gain
Let me correct myself:
Step 1 and 2 occur exactly as they're supposed to (as you describe).
i.e. the album volume would have to be 'mixed up' if it were to reflect the original album's volume levels (since the track's volume levels after 'level track volume' are no longer reflective of the relative track volumes on the original album).
Step 3 should occur as you describe as well (in contrast to my original statement). i.e. if the user tries to re-analyze the tracks, MM has no way of 'knowing' what the original relative track volumes were, so it would have to create a 'unmixed' Album Volume co-efficient.
Hope that's clear.
