Hi all. I have several HDD's of varying sizes. All have different software on. I no longer have some of the disks and wondered how I can move/copy some of the software to my laptops. I don't want to keep changing HDD's to use these other programs. So, could somebody kindly explain the route.
Is it as simple as copying the program from windows explorer?
I thought some files from each program go to different places on the computer. Is there a way to get all the program to another computer?
Thanks in advance. Martin.

moving software?
smartmart normaly, with the exception of computing...
Some applications are stand alone so they can be freely moved around. Others have files in different places and are registered in the Windows registry.
You might want to search online per application if you can move it or require a bit more work.
