RC2:Undo in "AutoTag from Filename" dialog [F4001

Post by Guest »

To Reproduce:

1) Select tracks; Ctrl-T (AutoTag from Filename)
2) Manually edit the "Filename format field": Delete some characters, then press Ctrl-Z to undo your deletions.

Expected result: Character deletions are undone
Actual result: Focus shifts to main window and the contents of the main window changes.

Thats because Ctrl+Z is the hotkey for 'find more from same year'.

Not really a bug.

Thanks NoHitter :)

But if that's the case, that is a really dumb default setting. I've never known any application to take over the most-oft-used system Undo key.

My suggestion would be that the devs change this, as it's likely to cause major confusion for all new users.

CTRL-Z (Undo) doesn't work for editing

Thx.

The hotkey is by default, assigned to Undo Playlist, however, it does interfere with editing. So either we prevent the interference or change the default.
