rc-3 podcast database error

Post by CaptBob »

I have the same error today trying to update a podcast
The feed is http://podcast.oneplace.com/Grace_to_You/3011135.xml
I successfully added it using MM RC2 (1105) on 26 Nov and downloaded the 6 available podcasts. On 28 Nov, it gave me the error "There was a problem querying the database: Error executing SQL "Select PodcastEpisodes. * from PodcastEpisodes where PubDate = 39413.000000000 AND title = 'The Character of God's Word' AND idPodcast = 1" : near "s": syntax error (1,1).
I have to close and open MM3 to try update a second time, assuming MM3 doesn't allow repeated PodCast updates within the same session.

The other podcast I subscribed to works fine.
I've install RC3 (1109) and get the same results.
I also uninstalled, deleted the database and settings, reinstalled MM3 and got the same error.

I subscribed to the same podcast using iTunes and it downloaded the latest available podcasts. (I really don't like iTunes but to verify the feed).

DebugView results to be emailed to support.

MM is a fantastic app and v3 is really great. Keep up the good work.

I am having a similar error with the Dr. Floyd podcast. Feed: http://www.DoctorFloyd.com/blog/rss.xml

It started happening last week when there was a new episode for Thanksgiving. I was using MM RC-2. Still happening with RC 3. I had to download the episode manually.

Thanks,
Tim

Thank you. This regression was accidentally introduced in some of the last RCs, it is fixed in RC4.

Any chance you could give us access to a build that has this fixed, unless you plan to release RC-4 very soon?

I don't want to miss episodes.
