MM3 process continues running after exiting GUI [3684]

When I exit the MM3 GUI (both RC4 and RC3), I have discovered that the MediaMonkey.exe process usually continues to run. This happens at work where I have no library; I just use MM3 to play my iPod (classic). I stop the iPod, eject it (and usually disconnect the USB cable), and close MM3 - seemingly without a problem. But most often (although not always), the MediaMonkey.exe process continues to run and I have to kill it in Task Manager. I am running Win XP Pro SP2 on a Dell xw8400 Workstation.
