Changing filters and not switching to Library node

I tend to use filters quite a bit but find it very annoying when I switch filters in the Navigation panel I am taken to the starting Library node and have to go back to my previous node.

Is it not possible to switch and let MM stay on the current node/playlist?

Agreed very annoying behavior.. I don't switch filters very often (yet), but if I did it would drive me crazy.
