Incompatibilty with PowerISO

Post by Hugh2323 »

Hi,

Mediamonkey is great but I have found one small error.

Upon loading Mediamonkey I get the following error message -

Table of Contents CD-ROM Z: not read successfully. 0

I can close the dialogue box and continue, so it is not a problem, just an annoyance.

Z: is a virtual drive created by PowerISO 4.9. This is the latest version of a popular program so it is strange it has not been noticed before.

The error only occurs when there is an ISO mounted on the virtual drive.

Vista Home Premium fully patched, Intel Pentium 4 3.0Ghz, 2 meg ram.
MediaMonkey 3.02, also occurred with 3.01

Thanks for your help and a great product.

Regards,
Lloyd

Thsi error means that MediaMonkey tried to access the CD-ROM drive in order to find out whether there is an audio CD content, but it was not able to read TOC successfully, i.e. it found out that there is no audio CD inserted in the drive. Don't worry about the message.

If it is annoying for you then there is possibility to set MM to not access the drive:

- In MediaMonkey.ini file there is parameter
IgnoreDriveLetters=AB
You can expand it to
IgnoreDriveLetters=ABZ
