Song#:2 dont work on ripping CDs

Post by Joshua »

Hi all,

I´m using MM 3.0.2.1134 Gold.

I have all song numbers in two-digits format, which means 01 instead of 1, 02 instead of 2 and so on. When ripping a CD the file is created correctly according to my settings, starting with song number, e.g. 02 - Bon Jovi - Keep the faith - Keep the faith.mp3 and so on.

But, and here´s the beef, within the ID3-tag the song number appears as one digit, 1, 2, 3, and so. For the moment I just use STRG+A & STRG+T to change the ID3-tag based upon the filename but I guess this could be a nice little boring bug. ;-)

Or am I making an error?

Cheers,
Joshua

I didn't try to replicate the bug but if you want a faster way to fix them you could try this script:
http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14822
Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix Find More From Same - Custom Search. | Transfer PlayStat & Copy-Paste Tags/AlbumArt between any tracks.
Tagging Inconsistencies Do you think you have your tags in order? Think again...
Play History & Stats Node Like having your Last-FM account stored locally, but more advanced.
Case & Leading Zero Fixer Works on filenames too!
