Tags with date in forms like 08/2000 shown as unsynched

Running 1147 (under Vista, in case it makes a difference). I suddenly find that many files are shown as unsynched (this includes many files that were synched before, and have not been edited since that time).

If I select them all and run Synchronize Tags, it appears to run, but afterwards all the same files still show as unsynchronized.

The common feature, that shows as a yellow highlight in the Unsynchronized Tags node, is a date made up of a month and year (but no day), e.g. 08/2000, 05/1999, etc. No record with a date containing a year only, or a date containing a day, month and year is showing this problem.

My date format in regional settings in Vista is set to show today's date as 25/03/2008, in case that matters.
