E.g. in ID3V2.3 tags, MM writes multiple artist values separated by "; " rather than "/" as specified by http://www.id3.org/d3v2.3.0#line-792 .

";" is most commonly used I have not found any Music Database Application that uses "/" for multiple artists and actually use it in that manner, if you find one I'll be glad to inspect.

Also note that all spreadsheet applications Support ";" as Separator. Solution widely used in spreadsheet applications works if TAB is Field Separator and ";" multiple values separator within separator.

As the original posting says says, this report about tags and what is written to them. It is not about "pure look in Player".

... and as I stated in the reply to the thread which pointed peoples attention to this thread again, multiple values are saved as "Value1/Value2" in the tags and have been for some time, which complies with the standards and was what you were asking for.
