i decided to make this list of my programs because i have many times said to tweak or clean your systems to some people in the forum. but have not given a complete list of what i use and what order i installed them.
maybe this will help some others keep their systems working and monkey having less trouble running.
all i can do is post the list if you don't want to use any of the programs thats fine i just want to get the list up
so you all know what i use. my installing order goes as the order the programs are typed in the list from the top down.
- tweaking programs i use.
Tweak-o-matic version 1.0
TweakUI for Windows Xp.
Xteq systems X-set up version 6.2.0.185
X-Setup pro version 6.6.1.248
above programs are only XP or Older Windows OS's
Below are Xp and Vista Tweaking programs.
RegScrubVistaXP, has a windows tweaking feature
MZ Ultimate Tweaker
Xdn Tweaker.
RivaTuner is an nvida video card tunning program.
those are the tweaking programs i use and the order in which they were installed.
as you noticed the two Xteq versions are both used, that is because they both have different
tweaks then each other, some are only on the older version and some are only on the newer version. both are freeware versions and the newest one i have is the last free version of xteq.
you now have to purchase that program
as you see most of them are only for xp, you with vista will have to find a few good programs your self. but you can buy the latest xteq program it is also for vista just these old ones i have are not for vista and both are not supported anymore meaning no updates for them.
cleaning programs i use.
http://cleanup.stevengould.org/
my uninstaller,
ccleaner slim no tool bar.
regscrubvistaXp
ncleaner (used with caution)
pc-decrapifier
programs used when starting the computer or
used while running the computer.
iconoid
it keeps the desktop icons where you want them.
priority,
used to start programs in high priority when you start them.
startright
is used in starting the computer it starts the programs in
the order you want them started. and has the ability to start them in
an assigned priority upon loading. use start right with caution the first
several times you will be redoing the programs alot to get the ones you
want it to control figured out.
location of these programs is majorgeeks.com that is where i found them all.
cleanup is also there but i just copied the link to it from its files and put it there for you.
