Playlists not syncing
Brand new to MM, so I'm pretty sure I'm not doing something right, but I've searched the forum, and I'm not finding the answer. Would appreciate any help offered. I've created 1 playlist and 3 auto-playlists in MM, checked them under "sync to portable/audio device", then auto-synced. Wasn't syncing any tracks (which may be the problem), but in any event, the playlists didn't go to my IPod. Am I missing a step?

Re: Playlists not syncing
If no tracks are making it onto the device then the playlists aren't going to make it either. What iPod version do you have? what version of MM are you using?

Re: Playlists not syncing
Sorry, didn't mean to suggest that tracks weren't syncing, that is working fine, just that there were no tracks being synced when I was trying to sync the playlists. With respect to versions of s/w, the MM version I'm using is 3.0.6.1190, and the IPod s/w is 1.1.2 PC.
Could the playlists not sync because I wasn't trying to sync any tracks?

Re: Playlists not syncing
OK, just found the problem. Under "options", "portable/audio device", I have check boxs for the plug-ins "d_iPod.dll" and "d_WMDM.dll". One was checked, the other was not. Apparently the wrong one (not sure which) was checked. Now both are checked (meaning one isn't necessary I suspect), and the playlists synched.
I'll create another playlist and see which plug-in I need.
Thanks for the reply nohitter151. Appreciate your time.
