1256 Track Browser missing for Now Playing node [#5797]

Is there a certain number of years for which a bug must go unfixed before it becomes a feature??

I assumed this was not by design because View menu and toolbar have a Show Track Browser button that in this case does nothing. But perhaps it is the behavior of of the button that is not by design.

Aren't the View Menu and Show Track Browser global features, are these not available on the menus toolbars in areas that they are not relevant to??

I agree that it would be more consistent that the Track Browser is disabled in the menu when the Now Playing node. This would be consistent with the Show Album Art item being disabled.

You're saying that when you're in the Now Playing node that the Show Album Art menu item in the View menu isn't disabled?

Album Art is disabled here in 1256, while Album Art with Details is not. This is because the Album Art view groups the tracks under the album artwork thumbnail and as a result, doesn't indicate a play order. Meanwhile, the Album Art with Details view is still enabled, because it still shows the tracks, and thus indicates the playorder (which is pretty much the main function of the Now Playing node)

This concept is also why I believe filtering this node is disabled.

No. I was referring to your "Album Art", not "Show Album Art" which was never mentioned. (Goodness, what a confusing menu.)
