Bug not fixed
in MM 2.4.1.851 I was told that a bug placing extra characters in my folder names when I attempt to "Add/Rescan Tracks to the Library" was fixed. I am sorry to report it has not. I just tried it out after downloading the beta - same problem - adds "\," into folder names if there is an imbedded space in the name .
commas are inserted
The bug was partially fixed. Evidently the fix only works when the path is enclosed in quotes.

quotes
Actually, all it means is that when you paste a path to the Scan Folders dialog, it should be enclosed in quotes.
We might make this even friendlier in the future by automatically creating the quotes, to make it even easier (but that could cause other usability problems).

Select "File" "Add/Rescan....."
Navigate through the folder tree with mouse, and select a specific folder (tick it).
The entry made by the software into the "Selected Folders" form as a result of the above action is corrupted as previously described.
Repeated experimentation shows that it only happens with folder names or paths that have an imbedded space eg "Program Files".
Interestingly enough, it happens on one of my machines only. Both run XPPro - both identical machines, both purchased at the same time.

Philby,
I've tried to replicate the issue but cannot. Any additional information about the system on which the problem occurs would be appreciated.
Also, I'd be curious what happens if MM is uninstalled/re-installed.
