Monkey Version 2.3.1.845 stops updating the Library! HELP!

I really loved this software, that is, until about 10 minutes ago. I am adding MP3 files to my hard drive, and the Library will not see the newly added files!!! My Library was originally built from this directory about two hours ago. What went wrong? I have file monitor looking at this directory, and I'm choosing <INS>, or File > Add/Rescan tracks to the Library, and the new files aren't showing up! Why? If I choose a differenent directory, on the same mapped drive, the MP3's from this newly selected directory show up, but the MP3's from the directory where I store ALL of my music MP3's still will NOT update. Any clues as to why this is happening would be great!

I've already closed and re-opened, and rebooted. No relief in sight! HELP!

What happen if double click one of the files within explorer?
Does it play in MM or not?

Some users had this problem when accidentally set Virtual CD path (in Options dialog) to the path where they normally store their mp3s.

I uninstalled and reinstalled. All has been well now for 24 hours. I also moved on to version 2.4 alpha 3. Very nice!
