Crashes in Windows 7

After installing Mediamonkey 3.1.1 it cannot start. It crashes and complains about audio library stopped working. Please somebody help me with this.

I don't understand the link in the context of the above question, because its discussion is about a compatibility issue with iTunes 9.0. I do not have iTunes installed, but am experiencing the same problems as stated above (Windows 7 64 Bit).

Well, that post doesn't state it, but the compatibility problem is actually with Quicktime. Updating to the latest Quicktime version (which is done automatically when upgrading iTunes...) can cause MM not to be able to start, and even if it does start, can cause problems with m4a and aac file playback.

The solutions listed there (upgrading to latest beta version or deleting d_iphone.dll) will fix those issues.
