Mass tagging in 2.4 doesn't work

In 2.3, I could select a whole block of tracks and change one field for all of them -- say, genre. In 2.4, I can't do that. I have to change tags one at a time. What's up with that?

Have you ensured that the check box next to the tag you want to edit is checked?

Yup, that fixed it. 2.3 didn't require that additional step, so I was a bit surprised. I suppose it's good to have one more confirmation.

I think it used to default to "Checked" when a change was made in previous versions. It caught me out initially as well.

Yes, it's a small bug, doesn't work as intended for all fields with text drop-downs. Will be fixed in the next release.
