Don't monitor Recycler
I have a drive with all my music on it, so I monitor the entire drive. The problem is when I delete things they still show up in mediamonkey in the D:\RECYCLER\... folder until I empty the trash. Just a nusance to constantly have to empy my trash.
WMP10 has exactly the same problem. Actually MM and WMP10 share a lot of features. 8>. What might work is if you tell it that the VCD folder is drive:\recycler, since it never scans the VCD folder (however you may have to give yourself access rights to recycler, since by default only the system has them, and least on my XP Pro systems).
Why don't you just put the files/directories one directory level further down, meaning you create one additional directory 'Music' or whatever in your partition and move all music folders there. Then just make MM watch this new directory.
Afterwards you have to choose 'File->Locate moved tracks' (using your new directory to search) to let MM know about the new locations.
This should work fine for you.
