UPnP: XBMC incompatible with MM Server [#8132]

Post by PhilDG »

I don't know if it's a MM issue or an XBMC issue but I thought I'd see if I could access MM from XBMC via uPnP.

It appears to connect fine and clicking on Artist & Album gives a list of all the artists, but clicking on an artist just lists all of the songs.

Also, the year node lists the decades but lists nothing under that.

I don't know if anyone has had any use of this setup - if it's any help, I'm running MM and XBMC on the same machine - Win7 x64

Try to create a debug log while performing these actions and send them to support: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=6&t=341

Isn't that what it should show? What other than the songs should be there?

On MM4, under Artist and Album Artist, the first node is artist, then album and then under that the tracks on the album. On other uPnP devices, this is what I am getting, but for some reason, the XBMC doesn't show any album details - it may be an issue with XBMC.

I will try and run a debug log

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the report. It's easily reproducible, so no need for a debug log.

Tracked at http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=8132
