Intermittently skips one or more tracks [#8178]

With the latest builds MM4 skips one or more tracks when starting playing a song, also when skipping a track sometimes MM4 skips several before it starts playing.

When the problem occurs the tracks that are skipped get greyed out:

I just now tried some different versions,
1420 and earlier - No problems
1428 and 1430 - Problems occur (I believe I started experiencing the problems with 1426 but haven't verified that yet).

I noticed from the screenshot you use 'Art with Details' view. Does the problem occurs also in 'Details' view?
From the log I see:
- you are using WASAPI output plugin, does this happen also with the default out_MMDS.dll output plugin?
- you play FLAC file types, does this happen with MP3 too?
- you have thousands of tracks in Now Playing list when starting MM and also when starting playback. Does it happen if you initiate playback of a single album only?

I did some additional testing, I could not replicate the issue in 1424 and 1426, so the issue appears to have started with 1428.

The problem occurs with "out_MMDS.dll" and also with MP3's. I can replicate the problem when playing a single album (I got it to occur even with a single and only 3 tracks in the playlist), also the problem happens with albums that don't have any album art.

Problem unfortunately persists, and appears to be even worse with 1431, the problem occurs more frequently and it skips more tracks at a time (just now it skipped 10 tracks)

also persists for me as well, 2 tracks since updating to 1431 (as well as previous versions) both flac (thus far).

Good work monkey team the issue appears to be definitely fixed with 1433, have been playing tracks for hours, no skips yet

Is there some place in general we can get these newer builds? I'm running 3.2.5.1306 and it's skipping through both my Audio CDs and my on-disk MP3s and FLACs.
