Hi,
I use MM for almost a decade with no major problems.
Yesterday I uninstalled iTunes (and everything related to it, like Bonjur, Application Support and other Apple's stuff) and today MediaMonkey is not usable. Whenever I tried to start it, it crashes immediately (no error displayed). It just dies silently.
I suppose some folder related to iTunes is modifies/deleted and MM cannot find it and just dies.
I have tried re-installation but still the same.
Any ideas?
PS: I just remembered that in the meantime I installed MediaGo from Sony Erricson http://mediago.sony.com/enu/introduction (I switched from iPhone to an Xperia Android phone just to sync between MM and the phone). MediaGo installed Visual C++ 2005 SP1 redistributable package http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/de ... en&id=5638 . Could that be the problem?
Uninstalling iTunes caused MM not to start

Did you rename d_iphone.dll to off.d_iphone.dll in the Program Files\MediaMonkey\Plugins as suggested?

Re: Uninstalling iTunes caused MM not to start
Yes. I did so. I also uninstalled Quicktime which I had forgotten to do so.
It now works. Actually I saw the troubleshooting guide just after starting this thread but due to my lengthy working hours I couldn't try it.
I did so this morning and now it works.
Thanks a bunch!
