Composers not showing up in iPod Video 60GB

Greetings,

I'm using MediaMonkey 2.5.1.921 -- Beta 3.

There is nothing showing up in my "Composers" list on my ipod after syncing. However, all of the music is accessible through Artist or Album.

I've checked and there are composers listed in the properties of many tracks within Mediamonkey.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know if it's a bug specific to the ipod video, or if it's just a not-implemented feature, but as a classical music listener this is something that I miss in MediaMonkey. In classical music, the composer field is more important than the artist (i.e. performers) field.

I haven't checked this out yet, 5G iPod can show Lyrics? Can you send me a sample iTunesDB file from your iPod containing lyrics uploaded from iTunes?

5G iPod does show lyrics - pressing the center button from "Now Playing" when playing music file gets you: foward/reverse "scrubber", full screen artwork (if available), lyrics, and rating (stars).

Just remembered, I can't send a sample iTunesDB file that will be of any use to you since I have never used iTunes to update my iPod! Just Media Monkey. Pehaps someone else can help?

In other news, after installing RC-1 tonight and rebuilding the device database (which seemed to work a lot faster than earlier Beta versions), the 5G iPod now displays "composers" perfectly. And album artwork is displayed flawlessly now also! This is quite good, because even iPods updated with iTunes have trouble with this judging from the forums (requiring a kludge to check and uncheck all songs after checking and unchecking display album artwork in iTunes).

So good work!
