In 2.5 these 2 have different behaviors.
I double click a song in the now playing and it starts playing. I double click a song in the now playing node and it adds the song to the now playing list.
I would expect that both now playings exhibit the same behavior.

This change was made in response to user requests. Specifically, the request was that Double-Click settings should apply consistently across all nodes (that way user can e.g. Double-click in NP to Edit Properties, OR Double-Click in NP to add a track to the end of the list.
I think that there are pros and cons and arguments for consistency that can be used for either approach, but would be open to hearing users comments on the subject.

Please comment on this issue...
Do you like the current manner in which Now Playing node is implemented?
i.e. in both regular and party modes, the Now Playing node behaves like every other node in terms of its behaviour when the user double-clicks a track.
On the other hand the Now Playing window, just switches to the double-clicked track.
Please comment.
Thx.

I liked it before, when the Now Playing Node behaved the same way as the Now Playing Window.
That's because I use the NP-node as a detailed "overview" of the NP-window (because that one's so small).
(I didn't try the changed behaviour (still using 2.4.2), but I guess I won't like it)
Cheers

Extensions: ExternalTools, ExtractFields, SongPreviewer, LinkedTracks, CleanImport, and some other scripts (Need Help with Addons > List of All Scripts).
Now Playing behaviour.
thx...more feedback please...
I prefer the old way where it acts as the now playing window. It makes more sense to me. But I guess that people who are new to the program will find the new way making more sense.
